2023 High Point National Motocross Fantasy Tips [7 Fast Facts]

2023 High Point National Motocross Fantasy Tips and Picks

It’s the last race of the opening four-round segment of the 2023 AMA Pro Motocross National Championship Series. So, it’s time to build up a lead in your RMFantasyMX.com fantasy league before the break. To do that, you’ll have to score big points at the 2023 High Point National in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, and we’re here to help.

2023 High Point National Motocross Fantasy Tips and Picks: Jett Lawrence
Jett Lawrence.
  1. Pick Jett Lawrence to win. If you haven’t figured this one out, it’s hard to know what races you’ve been watching.
2023 High Point National Motocross Fantasy Tips and Picks: Aaron Plessinger
Aaron Plessinger.
  1. Aaron Plessinger has earned P2. Even after going down on the first lap in moto 1 at Thunder Valley, Plessinger came back strong to finish in P4. In moto 2, he was a comfortable P2. So, P2 it is for AP7.
2023 High Point National Motocross Fantasy Tips and Picks: Dylan Ferrandis
Dylan Ferrandis.
  1. Dylan Ferrandis is right behind Plessinger. Ferrandis fell farther back in the Thunder Valley moto 1 field after colliding with Plessinger, and could only get back to P7. In moto 2, Ferrandis was able to keep Plessinger in sight. Ferrandis and Plessinger are definitely going at it for P2, but after picking Plessinger for P2, Ferrandis gets P3.
Cooper Webb at Thunder Valley on KTM
Cooper Webb.
  1. Ty Masterpool has entered the top 5 discussion with Cooper Webb and Adam Cianciarulo. Webb (2-5) and Cianciarulo (3-6) were inconsistent at Thunder Valley, while Masterpool went 5-4. Webb still nailed down P3 solidly in the wake of the Plessinger/Ferrandis crash. So, Webb still ranks up as the P4 choice. Masterpool looked like a rider on the charge at Thunder Valley, while Cianciarulo looked bad in moto 2 to end the day. With Masterpool’s momentum, he’s my P5 pick, though Cianciarulo is a fine alternative.

  1. The Wild Card is P14, and it’s always trickier the lower you go. The top choices are Kyle Chisholm (12-13-12-13-23-14) and Romaine Pape (23-16-14-10-14-13). Tyler Stepek (13-38 last week) is a good pick if you like long shots—not a bad Wild Card strategy. Chisholm cost me last week with his moto 1 crash, so I’ll take Pape for High Point.
Adam Ciancairulo.
  1. Last week was a tough one for me. I only nabbed 56 points, as I only got Lawrence spot-on, and that’s a gimme. Ferrandis’ P5 finish was unexpected, so there were only seven perfect scores for Thunder Valley out of over 33,000 players. I’m still in the top half, but that’s nothing to brag about.

I’m slotting him into P5. Sorry, Ty! I’m sticking with Pape for the P14 Wild Card.
