With the world's first zero emissions motorcycle race set to take place June 12, 2009 on the Isle of Man, Brammo announced it would add a second Enertia TTR motorcycle and rider to its TTXGP race team.

The world is about to witness a landmark moment in the electric vehicle industry. Today Zero Motorcycles announced a showdown with its European competitor. Ten fully electric motorcycles will compete in a dirt bike race, five from Zero and five from Quantya. The race marks the first time in history that any two electric motorcycle manufacturers will go head to head.

Santa Cruz Company Makes History With All-Electric Vehicle Endurance Race.

Zero Motorcycles made history today, after hosting their 24 Hours of Electricross this past weekend. The event was the first international endurance competition for off-road all-electric vehicles and included teams from around the world. Setting several world records including a Guinness World Record, over 50 competitors raced for 24 hours straight, only stopping to change out batteries and riders. In total, more than 4000 miles were completed by the field of 10 teams.

Electric Motorcycles Now Eligible for 10% Federal Tax Credit.
