2024 MotoGP Schedule Calendar

The 2024 MotoGP calendar is here, with several changes from last year. We’ll tell you what you need to know.

  1. The 22-round 2024 MotoGP series returns to Qatar for the opening round. Also, the start of the season is moved up to early March.
  1. The first four rounds are on four different continents: Asia (Qatar), Europe (Portugal), Argentina (South America), United States (North America). After that, there are four European rounds before returning to Asia for the Kazakhstan GP.
  1. The Catalunya GP moves from late summer to late spring.

  1. The summer break follows the German GP on July 7. It ends a month later with the Great Britain GP on August 4.
  1. Aragón is back on the calendar. It’s the first of four GPs in September.
  1. There is just one triple-header, compared to three in 2023. MotoGP riders will go at it on three consecutive Sundays as the autumn flyaway season begins—India (September 22), Indonesia (September 29), and Japan (October 6).
  1. This is a provisional 2024 MotoGP calendar, so dates and locations are subject to change or cancellation as they have been over the last four years. Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary stands ready as a replacement round, should that be necessary.
