2023 Motocross of Nations Results, Video [France Dominates]

France dominated the 2023 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations, with Maxime Renaux taking the Open class win and Tom Vialle finishing as the top MX2 rider. Romain Febvre contributed a first moto win (MXGP/MX2) in the MXGP class at the Moto Club Ernée circuit in western France, 60 miles from Le Mans. With just 14 points, France was 20 points ahead of Australia.

Jett Lawrence anchored the Australian team, easily winning the third moto (MXGP/Open), which was led early by Germany’s Ken Roczen (the top MXGP rider with a 3-2 day). Italy took the final podium spot with consistency among its three riders, with Andrea Adamo bringing home a P4 finish in moto two (Open/MX2).

The United States was the defending MXoN champion, but never figured in the podium battle after the first moto, finishing a distant P8. Aaron Plessinger (MXGP) took P5 in the opening moto, with RJ Hampshire (MX2) struggling after an opening lap crash to take P16. The second moto was disastrous for the United States, with Christian Craig (Open) finishing in P16 and RJ Hampshire in P10. With not much to race for in the final moto, Plessinger faded to P18 and Craig provided the P20 throwaway result.
