2016 Husqvarna 701 | Motorcycle Buyer's GuideThe top of the Husqvarna dual sport line is the new, more street-oriented, 701 Enduro. Dropping the race-oriented FE model identification and adding “Enduro”, the big 701 cranks out 67 horsepower with a massive 102mm piston as part of a clearly oversquare design with ride-by-wire technology and a slipper clutch.

The 701 Enduro is longer and lower slung than its FE counterparts, and the brakes are much more powerful (the front end has a radially mounted Brembo caliper and huge 300mm disc, plus Bosch ABS). Three engine maps allows the rider to tailor power delivery to his preferences and conditions. All of this positions the Husqvarna 701 Enduro as something of a highly off-road capable adventure bike.
